Our mission at Suitland Road Church of Christ is to grow in the image of Christ.

• Romans 8:29 – For whom He Foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of  His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.
• Romans 12:2 – And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
• Galatians 4:19 – My little children for whom I labor in birth again until Christ is formed in you.

We desire to help others study God’s plan to restore mankind back into a favorable relationship with God. It is a holistic study to understand God’s intent for us to be with him through the work and words of his only son, Jesus, the Christ.

• Who is my creator?
• For what purpose was I created?
• What do I need to do to be Saved?
• Is there a difference between existing and living?
• Is it within me to direct my own steps in life?

These are just some of the questions we should ask ourselves from time to time, especially when we have the opportunity to think about our lives. This is not surprising, considering that we were created in God’s image. Mankind has and continues to accomplish great feats. So why do we feel the way we do? What’s hindering us from moving beyond our current limits? And why do we have these voids in our lives?

One writer asked, “What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him”; (Psalm 8:4). Let’s take a view from God’s pages and allow the one who created us to aid us in our quest to answer these questions and to become whole again.
